Who we are

CosmoPortals Technology Solutions ("CosmoPortals", "we", "us") is an IT services firm located at 1 Research Court, Suite 450, Rockville, MD 20850. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, cosmoportals.com, and what we do with it.

This policy covers the website only. Information we handle while delivering services to a client is governed by that client's service agreement with us, not by this page.

Information you give us

When you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message, plus your organization and phone number if you choose to add them, the service you are asking about, and whether you told us you are a nonprofit.

If you call or email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to share in that call or message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and our content delivery network record standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time. We use these logs to keep the site running and to investigate abuse.

We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we do not build visitor profiles.

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies of its own, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

The security check on the contact form is run by Cloudflare, which may set a cookie of its own to tell a real person from an automated script.

Third-party services on this site

Cloudflare delivers and protects this site, so your requests pass through its network. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam; it checks your browser and sends Cloudflare your IP address. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the home page includes an embedded Google Map of our office. Loading these sends your IP address and browser details to Google, and the map may set Google's own cookies. Links to our Google reviews take you to Google. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy.

How we use information

We use what you send us to reply to you, prepare an estimate or proposal, and, if you become a client, set up and manage the work. We use server logs and the contact form's security check to secure the site and stop spam. To limit repeated submissions, we keep a short-lived record of the IP addresses that send the contact form, with no message content.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in the form.

Who we share it with

Contact form messages are delivered to our company mailbox, so they pass through our web hosting and email providers. Beyond the providers that operate our website and email, we share information only when the law requires it or when it is needed to protect our rights, our clients, or the security of our systems.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are sent to us by email. They are not stored in a database on this website. We keep the email for as long as the conversation or the resulting business relationship needs it, and afterwards as required for our business records.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] or call +1 (301) 329-3298 and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor them.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the information we hold. No website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive data through the contact form.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and organizations. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
